The Story of Budaya Ilmu
The Story
The concept of the knowledge culture (budaya ‘ilmu) has been elaborated for nearly four decades by Prof. Dr. Wan Mohd. Nor Wan Daud through his writings. His extensive research, observations, and experiences have thoroughly explained the meaning of the knowledge culture and its practice throughout world civilizations, as well as in the Malay-Jawi Archipelago.

Over this period, we have become increasingly aware of the shifting values and the efforts undertaken by various segments of society within their capacities to revive and implement the culture of knowledge, particularly in Malaysia.
Felo Muda’s Aspiration
In line with this vision, Felo Muda Initiative is committed to advancing the aspiration of cultivating knowledge, as advocated by Prof. Dr. Wan Mohd. Nor Wan Daud. To achieve this, we aim to establish a community space for knowledge culture—equipped to offer structured and integrated intellectual programs and activities for youth communities across the region, particularly between Malaysia and Indonesia.
At the same time, Felo Muda, as a strategic youth community program, is open to collaborate with institutions and organizations interested in revitalizing and promoting the knowledge culture in a more effective manner.
